Welcome Message

Dear Friends,

It is our pleasure, honor and privilege to host a unique event in Prague, Czech Republic on August 29th – September 2nd, 2018. The Neurosurgical Week will start with the meeting of World Academy of Neurological Surgery, a members only conference which will bring top quality faculty from the next two combined events. The International Meningioma Society will hold its annual conference along with the 13th International Conference on Cerebrovascular Surgery oustide of Asia for the first time. The two main conferences will enjoy the presence of WANS members and a unique combination of joint plenary sessions with targeted breakfast seminars and dedicated afternoon sessions. In general, the topics will be meningiomas, skull base, and cerebrovascular. The Week will finish with a  hands-on course on endoscopic neurosurgery organised by the WFNS Neurosurgical Anatomy Committee.

Both the Prague team and myself would like to organise a unique opportunity to meet and discuss with everyone and anyone interested in the above mentioned topics. We hope to see many young colleagues in Prague since the topic not only relates to the top level of science, but also education which will be the foremost quality of the whole event.

At the turn of August and September, the weather in Prague is warm and sunny – very pleasant for any activity such as sightseeing and walking the cobblestones streets of this magical city. Prague is a very lively and historical place – there are so many things to do and see so boredom is nonexistent here.

Since the success of any conference depends primarily on the participants, we hope you will help us organise such a memorable event.

Do come and enjoy. See you in Prague in 2018!
